2016 - Athens
The 2016 Circle of European Communicators was held on September 14th – 16th in the ancient city of Athens. In light of Athens’ rich history and recent developments, the theme was Hope & Courage. The most senior communicators from across Europe heard from visionary speakers and distinguished experts exploring ideas and trends.
2015 - Copenhagen
One of the strongest cultural and economic hubs of Northern Europe, this year’s event took place in Copenhagen, focusing on Cause and Effect on 9th – 11th September 2015. Dating back to the 10th century, this capital city has a rich history filled with everything from business and politics to vibrant arts and culture.
2014 - Rome
The 2014 Circle of European Communicators was held on September 10th – 12th in the beautiful and historic city of Rome under the title Transformation. Peer debate, expert discussion and the exchange of novel concepts stimulated new ways of thinking and of sharing experiences.
2013 - Istanbul
Istanbul, the city that lies in two continents, has been associated with major political, religious and artistic events for more than 2,000 years. From September 4th – 6th Istanbul has been hosting the 2013 Circle of European Comunicators, which was hold under the title Building Bridges.
2012 - Potsdam
Potsdam, city of UNESCO World Heritage, city of parks and palaces on the idyllic lakes of the Havel, historical city of culture, center of education and science, characterized by a 1000-year-old history as a royal capital and State capital near Berlin, has been hosting the 2012 Circle of European Communicators under the title Ideas that changed the world.
2011 - Oxford
Oxford, The City of Dreaming Spires, which is famous the world over for its University and place in history, was host of the 2011 Circle of European Communicators. It was held on Septmeber 7th – 9th under the title The next decade: An interconnected future.
